We can help you create a driveway that is the perfect finishing touch to your home. A new driveway will provide an attractive and practicle frontage to your property. You can choose from a vast collection of designs and colours for either a modern, contemporary or traditional style to complement your house front. With the many product and design options available you can be sure of a stunning end result and the kerb appeal you desire for your property. We can install sympathetic drainage for any surface water, if required, so no need for planning permission for your installation.
Shingle is very versatile and decorative and be perfect for both contemporary or traditional properties. By first installing a Drivegrid System we can guarantee a sturdy and stable base to hold your new gravel driveway in place. If you don't require the grid but would like a shingle or gravel installation we can lay your shingle on a crushed concrete base for stability, both options are set on a Geo-Textile membrane to inhibit weed growth. Rainwater can run through your choice of aggregate and through the membrane into the ground below, therefore no planning permission is required at all. As trusted and reliable paving contractors you can be assured of our extensive knowledge and experience in groundworks.
Some of our most frequently asked questions:
I have a manhole cover on my existing drive, can you disguise it?
Absolutely, we can replace your existing manhole cover with a new recessed manhole cover and fill the recess with your chosen paving with no interruption to the pattern.
We would like our wall/fences replaced at the same time as our driveway, is this something you do?
Yes, we do. Many of our customers choose to have their boundary walls or fences replaced at the same time as their driveway. This ensures a neat finish, less disruption to you and a complete transformation of your property frontage.
Do I need planning permission?
Very rarely. Planning permission is required when a new driveway on your property will force surface water onto a public road or footpath. We can easily prevent this, even with a steeply sloped driveway, by installing a surface water drainage system and soak away, therefore not requiring planning permission at all.
I would like a mix of surfaces like blocks, shingle and some borders raised, is this a problem?
Not at all. We often help our customers design the property front to be practicle as well as in keeping with the house style and multi-purpose. We are always happy to help you realise your vision.
If you have any other questions do get in touch. We are always happy to advise.
